Post Decree Motions

Post decree motions are sometimes necessary after the final decree of divorce. Sometimes it is because the parties, typically with children, are still fighting. Sometimes post decree motions are necessary due to changed circumstances, for example:

  • One parent is relocating
  • Changed employment or loss of employment
  • Children reach the maximum age for child support

If you believe that your circumstances have changed since your divorce or dissolution was final, please give us a call to discuss your situation. Not all post decree motions are adversarial, some are just necessary to catch the paperwork up with your reality.
